Former St Mary's student joins a "Sky Full of Stars" by opening for Coldplay

Former Endsleigh Holy Child and St Mary’s College student, Chiedu Oraka, opened for global superstars Coldplay at Hull’s Craven Park Stadium - part of the band’s Music of the Spheres world tour.

In a most memorable moment, Chiedu was even welcomed back to the stage during Coldplay’s main set to take part in the song Let’s Pray, an extraordinary opportunity for the rapper from the North Hull Estate.

Everyone within our Trust community is bursting with pride at this achievement. We are equally grateful for the time and support Chiedu continues to offer our students whenever he visits, always inspiring the next generation with his humour, determination, and generosity.

Chiedu is the perfect example of what can be achieved with hard work and passion, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate his journey.
